The PBN Company has hired Alexander Kravtsov as corporate V-P and head of client services.

The move sees Kravtsov return to the agency where he held positions in PBN's US, Russia and Ukraine offices from 1994 to 1998. He joins after two years at Basic Element where he oversaw the group's international comms strategy across Asia, Europe and North America.

Partners Capital Investment Group has handed a strategic financial comms brief to HB Communications following a competitive pitch. The firm provides independent investment advice to high net worth families, foundations and endowments. Buchanan Communications and incumbant M: Communications were also understood to be on the pitch list.

Teamspirit Public Relations has been appointed to provide strategic counsel and b2b and b2c PR support to Group Risk Development, the trade body representing firms offering group life insurance, group income protection and group critical illness cover. The Chime Communications' agency won a competitive pitch to become the firm's first retained agency. The account will be led by Teamspirit MD Scott Learmouth.

Brunswick has promoted Tom Burns and Carole Cable to the positions of partner in its London offices. Burns joined the firm five years ago from the Association of British Insurers where he was deputy head of international relations. Cable is a former analyst and previously worked at Credit Suisse. The agency has promoted Catriona McDermott and Fiona Mulcahy to director.

Moorgate Communications has been retained by private equity firm MML Capital Partners. Moorgate will help profile the fund's range of funding and partnership solutions for corporate management teams.
