The agency will focus on promoting a cut-price annual membership deal. Individuals and families in Scotland are now being offered six months free Historic Scotland membership when they sign up for annual membership.
Historic Scotland's marketing and media manager Rebecca Hamilton said: 'In the current financial climate, one in five people may be holidaying at home in 2009, so our six months free deal will be a welcome fillip. Families will gain free access for 18 months to more than 70 leading attractions and properties across Scotland as part of the deal.'
Consolidated PR will be supporting the integrated advertising campaign to raise awareness of the deal among families across Scotland. It will be headed up by director Will Holt. 'The offer closes 15 July, so we've got a limited timeframe to shout from the ramparts,' said Holt.
The work coincides with a TV ad featuring Monarch of the Glen star Hamish Clark embarking on a journey around Scotland's attractions.
