Who are the space barons?
Jules Barton-Breck is editor of IPC’s Essentials magazine. Lifestyle writer Fiona Galley also handles giveaways and is a good point of contact.

Get the tone right
Essentials not only offers practical advice for women, but also emotional support on relationships and health. The team looks for exclusive case studies and information on new buys, services and advice for fashion, beauty, homes, food, health and consumer. ‘Tips is our middle name,’ explains Barton-Breck.

Developing relationships with PROs is a key focus to the Essentials team, but they are busy people. ‘Meeting
for ten minutes in our reception at the Blue Fin building is much more helpful than travelling to the other side of London for a three-hour sit-down lunch,’ says Barton-Breck.
