The British company previously managed its UK PR inhouse but decided to bring in an agency in a bid to differentiate itself from Adobe and Corel.
Currently, Adobe and Corel are considered the top players in the creative and design software market. The five-figure brief is to raise the profile of Serif products and promote them as
more cost-effective than alternatives from companies such as Adobe.
The agency's first project is to launch PhotoPlus, Serif's answer to Adobe Photoshop.
