Who are the web barons?
Former Sky News and ITN anchor Alison Bell presents the site’s videos. Founder and editor-in-chief is ex-Daily Mail and The Sun journalist Steve McDowell.

Get the tone right
The site is an HD digital business show ‘explaining serious points in an entertaining manner, bringing to life the essence of what makes a company tick’, explains McDowell. Recent videos have looked at the turbulent banking sector in the style of 70s cop show The Sweeney, as well as Bank Aid, a Christmas song.

The company behind the website, Interactive Investor, is keen for PROs to get in contact if their client has an interesting story to tell. The site bills itself as ‘the City without a suit’. ‘CEOs, bankers, analysts, commentators and even the odd celebrity are all welcome,’ adds McDowell.
