The resource centre will include tools and techniques to help members demonstrate the value of PR to employers and clients.
The online toolkit draws together a collection of materials under three headings: Demonstrating your worth, Issues and trends and Working smarter. Materials include award-winning case studies that show how PR contributes to organisational success, and skills guides and top tips on critical issues such as crisis management and how to measure digital PR.
In addition there are testimonials from industry leaders about why they choose to use PR, and articles covering the value of PR.
CIPR president Kevin Taylor said: ‘I want to ensure that the CIPR continues to provide the support members want and need. I want the Institute to champion my profession and to help me to show my clients and employers why it is vital that they continue investing in their communications if they want to ride the tide and come through this downturn in good shape.'
The kit will be made available online to members at www.prmeansbusiness.biz from today.
