London Advertising has called in TLG, the corporate and public affairs specialist led by former Weber Shandwick consultant Malcolm Gooderham. TLG will work alongside The PR Office, which handles press relations for the new agency.

London Advertising was set up in late 2008 by well-known former M&C Saatchi execs, Michael Moszynski and Alan Jarvie.

It is the first major ad agency to set up in the UK since the onset of the credit crunch and is keen to present itself as offering a new kind of international advertising agency for a new world.

TLG has been hired to generate recognition and a leadership platform for this proposition.

Gooderham, a former aide to Michael Portillo, said: ‘Working with London promises to be high profile given their record. Their creativity and business model makes them well placed to be the ad industry's thought leaders.'

London Advertising is already making waves in the ad world having recently bagged a major account with Hong Kong-based luxury-hotel chain Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

In April, Mandarin Oriental moved its estimated $10m global creative account from its longtime agency M&C Saatchi International to London Advertising.
