Margaret Street will help re-define Jurys Inns' consumer brand positioning in support of its 18 month hotel expansion project which will see 11 new hotels added to the group's portfolio of 25.
The agency will also handle five individual UK hotel launches in 2009 and support the opening of the first Jurys Inn hotel in Continental Europe, in Prague.
Fleishman Hillard will continue to provide consumer comms support for the hotel group in its native Ireland, while ReputationInc handles its corporate PR.
Lorigan said that she established Shoreditch-based Margaret Street to tackle growing demand for integrated PR planning, strategy and implementation.
She commented: ‘Marketing and PR are too often like oil and water - as are consumer and corporate communications. I have been lucky enough to have had responsibility for all of these areas during my 14 years at Disney and I know from experience that the best communications planning comes from setting egos aside and putting integrated brand thinking at the beginning of the process.'
