Johnson left the Leeds-based consumer and corporate shop last week after four years at the agency. He was unable to comment on the circumstances surrounding his exit but confirmed he is currently freelancing and exploring new career opportunities.
Lucre director Sophie Spyropoulos said of his departure: ‘The decision to leave is based purely on the old board members' vision for the future of the company being different.'
Johnson joined the agency from the now defunct Leeds-based agency Poulters and also previously worked in the press office at Wakefield Council.
Lucre works for clients including Little Chef, Ronseal and Pernod Ricard.
