Who reads the magazine?
ABC1 men aged 25 to 60 who enjoy the finer things in life.
You currently only distribute in the East of England. Why expand to London?
The capital provides an ideal target market. The magazine will be available free in places such as members clubs and country clubs.
What makes a great 1 Degree story?
An epic drive or travel feature - Top Gear-style. One of our most successful features included a look inside Ferrari HQ, followed by a 48-hour dash in a 599 to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, via the St Bernard Pass in Switzerland.
Of which story are you most proud?
An interview with up-and-coming British superbike star Leon Camier. I spent a week with him at Silverstone on an intensive rider training course. It is not just a standard 15-minute interview with a sports star.
Do you have a good relationship with PROs?
They are critical to generating the right content for our readers. Thanks to support from premium brands, hotels and motorsport organisations, among others, we offer unique stories combined with unrivalled imagery.
What are your PR pet peeves?
Supplying low quality, low-resolution images, and promising the earth and then delivering much less. Be honest and upfront about what you can and cannot do.
My iPhone and the Dave TV channel.
How are you keeping up with social media?
We have a free daily 'horse racing tip service' blog.
Lead time: Two months.
