PRFPR Chairman Peter Frater and CEO Peter Rawlinson are behind the new venture, focussing on eco-sensitive brands, products, services and initiatives that will shape the transport industry in the future.
Frater said: ‘PFPR has increasingly been working with automotive manufacturers and infrastructure providers who have responded to the environmental challenges and so we felt the time was right to create a unique communications consultancy, dedicated solely to this revolution.'
Ecomotion PR will operate and develop as a separate, stand-alone specialist business, working in tandem with PFPR Communications.
Rawlinson commented: ‘We will be providing communication services to every link of the international eco-friendly transport chain - from windmill to wheel. This embraces Government-led schemes, local authority initiatives, energy providers, infrastructure operators, plus vehicle manufacturers, distributors and retailers.'
Ecomotion will specifically target companies producing electric vehicles and hybrids as well as those building bio-fuel or hydrogen fuel-cell technology.
