Amy Fisher, MD of corporate comms at Alliance Trust, has been lined up to replace him after an extensive search. She will take up the role next month and will be based in the agency's Edingburgh office. She also has 10 years' experience in PR consultancy working for Lansons Communications.

Isdale is believed to have a role lined up, but declined to elaborate at this time. He joined Trimedia in January 2007 from his role as co-founder at Glasgow-based agency The Big Partnership.

Trimedia Scotland's current clients include Ernst & Young, Network Rail and Dunfermline Building Society.
