Road has been appointed by Rubbermaid Commercial Products to launch its microfibre cleaning technology into the UK hospital sector.

The win coincides with demands for an independent review following the deaths of 13 people in an outbreak of the clostridium difficile bug at Eastbourne District General Hospital earlier this month.

A first phase of Road's brief is to run a series of advisory boards and engagement programmes with hospital infection control teams.

The account is being lead by Road MD Paul Jarman.
