The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management launched the international survey this week.
The survey's goal is to hear from PR professional associations and individual practitioners around the world on the key issues that will affect the industry over the next five years.
The results will inform the development of the Global Alliance's new strategic plan for 2009-2014, with the results presented at its annual general meeting on 6 June in Canada.
‘It's fitting for the Global Alliance to use a global survey to take the pulse of the public relations profession today,' said chair of the Global Alliance and CIPR director general Colin Farrington. ‘Our 77 member associations will have the final say on our strategic plan. But we want our work to be informed by the views of individual practitioners who share our vision of ‘one profession, one voice'.'
