PayPoint seeks agency support

Household bill payment firm PayPoint is holding a pitch for its combined PR and Public Affairs account.

The pitch is being managed by head of corporate affairs Peter Brooker, who joined the company in November. He was previously public affairs director at Experian. Brooker is believed to want to consolidate all of Paypoint's PR and public affairs activity into a single account. 

Incumbent agency Brands2Life is repitching against a shortlist which includes Good Relations and The Communications Group. Brands2Life had held the PayPoint.net press account, while Mischief PR was the trade and consumer PR agency for the brand. Mischief declined to repitch.
 
The final pitch is taking place this week and a decision is expected by the end of March.
