Johnson King to work with Cleantech Group

- The Cleantech Group, the networking group that pioneered the concept of clean technology, has brought in b2b specialist Johnson King as its first UK agency. Clean technology represents products and services, such as energy or transportation, that are designed to reduce or eliminate negative ecological impact.

- Basware, the world's biggest electronic invoicing company, has hired Octopus for a six-figure brief. Octopus won the account following a five-way pitch. It will manage the company's PR network globally. It will also work on social media strategy and UK PR campaigns. Basware helps global brands such as Finnair and Toyota manage their supplier and invoicing relationships electronically.

- Infortrend, the Taiwanese network storage company, has handed its global account to Ogilvy PR. The agency's London office will co-ordinate the European network, while the global work will be led by Asia. In December Ogilvy PR worked on a project to promote Infortrend's collaboration with animation studio Framestore on the Universal Studios feature film The Tale of Despereaux.

- Phones 4u has called in Splendid Communications to handle the launch of a new pink handset exclusive to the independent mobile phone retailer. Shoreditch-based Splendid will drive PR coverage to position the handset as a must-have style accessory for girls.

- SQS, the quality management and software testing company, has handed its PR account to Belfast-based Morrow Communications. Morrow will help SQS improve its presence and positioning within the marketplace through targeted media relations and stakeholder engagement.
