Top PROs to pitch ideas

Four influential comms directors are to take part in a Dragon's Den-style pitching session to discover who has the best strategy for responding to the financial crisis.

The in-house gurus will present at PRWeek's 'PR on the Edge' conference on 28 May. The crowd will vote for the best of the ten-minute presentations.

Virgin Atlantic's Paul Charles will argue that PROs need to pay more attention to social media, while BT Retail's Mike Love will say the profitability of a business needs to be prioritised over its comms.

Department for International Development comms director Paul Mylrea and British Red Cross comms chief Phil Talbot will also take part.
