Virgin Trains has appointed The SPA Way to launch a consumer-focused campaign to support the launch of its West Coast timetable.

The agency won the business following a competitive six-way pitch.

The main aims of the campaign will be to highlight the train opperator's more frequent and faster off-peak services.

The campaign will also focus on encouraging families to make time for each other by choosing Virgin Trains for their journeys and promoting the benefits of train travel as an alternative to cars when making trips to visit friends and family.

The agency is charged with raising awareness of Virgin Trains across national, consumer, broadcast, online and regional media.
