The agency will work on consumer and corporate PR for the company behind television shopping channels Ideal World and Create and Craft.
Golley Slater was chosen from a short-list of four agencies and will take over from incumbent Fuel PR.
The agency's first task will be to publicise the hypnotist Paul McKenna's forthcoming appearance as a guest presenter on Ideal World.

Ideal Shopping Direct broadcasts to 22.6m households in the UK and has a turnover approaching £100m.
Buchanan will continue to handle Ideal Shopping Direct's financial PR.
