Frank snares gaming brief

Frank PR has landed a bumper brief with the world's biggest game developer to handle its UK consumer and lifestyle PR.

The agency won the Activision account after a three-way shoot-out with Brands2Life and Text 100. Frank already works with the company on a pan-European strategic level, but it will now lead its product-specific PR cam­paigns across the UK, as well as provide a press office function for UK consumer media.

Industry sources speculated that the UK and European accounts were together worth more than £400k – probably the biggest video games PR account in the market.

Frank will work with Activision’s in-house team to deliver creative campaigns that generate mainstream awareness of individual titles, including its Call of Duty franchise and partner brands such as Marvel.
