RBP has been handed the circuit's media relations remit as it looks to negotiate the massive re-development necessary to get the circuit up to spec for the 2010 event. The circuit will host the event for ten years.
The Lincolnshire-based agency will be responsible for communicating the brand to a wider audience and extending its appeal as a multi-purpose venue, while working in conjunction with existing freelance press officer Dave Fern to promote individual events.
The win coincides with the promotion of 28-year-old account director Rebecca Brocklesby to the role head of PR and to its board of directors. She has been with the agency since September 2003 following work in regional media at Carlton TV and the Leicester Mercury.
