What is it good for?
Barny’s is in the heart of the City, so is a good place to take clients for a delicious, quick lunch that doesn’t break the bank. The food is sourced from local markets and the décor has a real eco-friendly and relaxing vibe.
‘Barny’s Burger’ is a must. It is made from the highest quality meat that is sourced daily from Smithfields market and is extremely reasonably priced at £4.45. I recommend having it with the home fries and the salads, which are very unusual and change daily.
Who’s the boss?
Barny Stoppard, son of celebrated playwright Tom Stoppard, is both head chef and owner.
Try the sandwich of the week, which is based on street food from exotic locations. Look out for the eco-friendly reusable lunch boxes they are distributing, which entitle you to a discount off your lunch. Also their home-made lemonade is the perfect drink to accompany the food.
What’s the damage?
£10 for two courses.
