The British Academy of Composers & Songwriters handed the account to the entertainment specialist after a three-way pitch.
The agency has been briefed to increase pre-awareness of both the awards ceremony and the Academy's work. It will handle media for the event itself alongside sponsors, the Performing Rights Society.
Taylor Herring's managing partner Peter Mountstevens will handle the account, and reports to the Academy’s PR manager Margherita Watt. The Outside Organisation previously held the account.
The 2009 Ivors will take place on 21 May in London's Grosvenor House. Previous winners include Paul McCartney, Oasis, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Amy Winehouse, Gary Barlow and Mick Jagger.
