Urban regeneration company ReBlackpool has hired the Manchester-based agency to handle communications for the ongoing transformation of the town following a six-way pitch. The regeneration body previously used Weber Shandwick North.
ReBlackpool is charged with implementing the latest phase of the Blackpool Resort Masterplan – a ten-year scheme launched in 2003.
Key projects include the creation of new residential areas, attractions, landmarks and natural public spaces.
ReBlackpool chief executive Doug Garrett said the plan was to transform the area into a ‘world-class 21st century visitor destination’.
