The meeting hosted by Evening Standard MD Andrew Mullins on Thursday saw Ritterband discuss campaign ideas.

A London First brief explains that ‘London businesses in the retail, restaurant, hotel, theatre and other sectors have expressed to us their concerns about consumer confidence in 2009’.

The campaign targeting Londoners will be led by London First in conjunction with a Visit London campaign aimed at US, Europe and UK regions.

Parties expected to attend the meeting include comms directors from Travelodge, the GLA, VisitBritain and the New West End Company.

In an email preceding the meeting, London First chief executive Baroness Jo Valentine thanked the Evening Standard for placing a comment piece by her ‘exploring some of the themes we have been discussing’.
