The agency has been appointed by The BugWorld Experience ahead of its launch in June.
As the first visitor centre of its kind in the UK, the interactive attraction will be situated in the Liverpool Docks area and will offer visitors the chance to see and touch a huge variety of bugs from around the world and even let visitors eat a selection of tasty bug snacks at the base camp.
Mere PR is implementing a pre-awareness campaign to build interest across Liverpool and the North West. Post launch the Cheshire-based agency will promote the tourist attraction on a national and regional basis to drive footfall through sustained media relations, competitions, radio promotions and stunts.
As part of the launch Mere Communication Group's advertising and design agency, Lake, is also creating an advertising campaign.
