The company, which owns nightclubs such as KOKO in Camden and Infernos in Clapham, will launch CineMoi in January.
It has brought in Shine for an integrated comms brief covering traditional and digital PR, online subscription generation and campaign analytics.
The channel wants to be seen as the top provider of French films on TV and online. Exclusive interviews with French celebrities will be shown in between each film.
'There is a large community of people who love French cinema in the UK ranging from French expats, French speakers and general film buffs and previously there has been no media channel dedicated to satisfy their interest', said Shine Communications associate director Lawrence Collis.
The agency will target professionals over 30 years old who are into arts and culture.
