Formerly UK head of interactive, social and emerging media, Warren now heads up the UK digital practice. He will work with the company’s global team to continue to provide online ideas for clients.
He has worked with some of the firm’s largest clients advising on digital communications involving blogging, podcasting, online community marketing, citizen journalism and new and emerging social media components. He will both report to Gail Heimann, vice chair of the company.
In addition, Chris Perry, has been appointed executive vice president, digital strategy and operations - based in the US.
He will be responsible for overseeing Weber Shandwick’s digital team, strategy and service offering around the world.
Perry, who is also the general manager of the company’s Southern California operations, has led the agency’s efforts on campaigns including the recent Stand Up To Cancer and GM Next efforts.
