The agency has been called in to support ongoing reputation development and political outreach.
It will help the body to connect with key audiences in political, healthcare and policy circles.
The Improvement Foundation was formed in 2000 to help frontline healthcare public service providers to improve and redesign the services they provide to their patients and the public. The foundation uses improvement methodology and techniques that originally came from non-healthcare industry.
Its work has covered nearly 35m people in the UK with estimated savings to the NHS of £33m per year.
The account will be led by Good Relations CEO Teresa-Anne Dunleavy.
