Ironic then that the proposer of this thesis, the head of CR at a prominent FTSE company, suggested that CR is integral to everything it does and as proof pointed to the CEO and CFO's direct interest and her team of 25 staff.
Here's the rub. The total workforce of this company is 44,000. Surely CR is a function of everyone's job description? Would recent circumstances have evolved differently at Woolworths if CR was understood to have rested on the shoulders of all its employees, not just a few?
