BBC chief at April summit

Ed Williams, the BBC's director of comms, will be the keynote speaker at PRWeek's Strategic Communications Summit next April.

The two-day conference - to be chaired by London Business School's Andrew Gowers (former head of comms at Lehman Brothers and editor of the Financial Times) - takes place on 29-30 April 2009 at the Grange City Hotel, London.

With the first day focused on strategic corporate comms, and the second day dedicated to internal comms, delegates will receive a holistic view on the best PR thinking for 2009.

Williams, who handled the fallout from the Russell Brand/Jonathan Ross scandal, will talk about high-stakes reputation management.
