Tamaris is already stocked in over 750 high street outlets in the UK and the agency will attempt to build the brand to the same levels of recognition that are enjoyed across Europe.
EdenCancan won the account in a competitive pitch and will be promoting the brand's current Autumn/Winter collection.
It is also charged with promoting the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2009 ranges to trade and consumer media.
The agency will roll out a media relations programme aimed at fashion magazines, supplements and national newspapers.
It will also handle all press days and events and explore celebrity endorsements for the Tamaris brand.
