- Koan PR has announced that it is going into administration. The Manchester-based agency won the Outstanding PR Consultancy award at the CIPR North West PRide awards only last week.

- Kodak is to review PR arrangements for its graphic comms in January, when it parts company with AD Communications. The agency has taken on a brief with competitor Fujifilm UK.

- Mark Borkowski has been hired by Bernie Ecclestone's wife, Slavica, to handle media enquiries surrounding her divorce from the Formula One boss.

- 3 Monkeys has been brought on board by high street retailer Robert Dyas to handle PR support in the run-up to the Christmas trading period.

- Moneybookers, the online payment firm, has handed a retainer to Fishburn Hedges. The account spans corporate, financial and consumer PR.

- Thetrainline.COM, an independent online train ticket retailer, is looking for PR support. Incumbent agency Lexis is repitching for the account.

- House of Fraser has hired three-month-old agency Liberty&Cole to handle PR for its Edinburgh store, Jenners.

- Cirkle scooped Best Agency for the fourth year in a row at last week's Thames & Chiltern Pride Awards. In Scotland, 3x1 PR won the Top Agency award.
