Mike Lee's agency will help the IPC promote Paralympic sport and will advise across a range of brand, marketing and sponsorship opportunities.
The IPC organises both summer and winter Paralympic Games and also serves as the internal federation for nine sports, for which it co-ordinates world championships and other events.
Xavier Gonzalex, CEO of the IPC, said that Vero's knowledge of the London 2012 landscape and previous Games experience were decisive factors behind the appointment.
Lee, CEO and founder of Vero, was formerly director of communications and public affairs for London's successful 2012 Olympic bid.
Vero has also been brought in by Rio 2016, the organisation leading Rio de Janeiro's bid to host the 2016 Games, to advise on its campaign in advance of the October 2009 decision.
Additionally, the agency will be working pro-bono for Beyond Sport, a global charity backed by former PM Tony Blair that uses sport to promote social changes.
