Flack: On expenses - The Zetter, London EC1

Reviewer: Helen Stephenson, Group PR creative director, Golley Slater

- What is it good for?

The Zetter is a cool hotel in a cool location. The dining room's full length windows let natural light flood in. An enticing breakfast menu (the ricotta pancakes with banana, syrup and creme fraiche are incredible) makes it a popular destination for breakfast meetings.

- Signature dish

The garlic roasted prawns with chorizo, sweet potato and glazed pork belly is famous. The Smithfield Pony cocktail is also a favourite that keeps the bar and lounge busy.

- Who's the boss?

Mark Sainsbury and Michael Benyan are the owners and pros in the restaurant business. They first joined forces to open the highly acclaimed Moro in nearby Exmouth Market, alongside Sam and Sam Clark.

- Tips please

The Zetter is adding a new grill menu and live jazz musicians to its Sunday brunch.

- What's the damage guv'?

For two courses, a bottle of wine and a coffee, expect to pay £35 a head. Ricotta pancakes, maple syrup, banana and creme fraiche is £6.50, but what a way to start the day.
