Technology: Arctic project hires agency

Nelson Bostock Communications has been brought in to boost the profile of an environmental research initiative based in the Arctic.

The Ice Warrior Project was founded by veteran explorer and former Windsor Castle firefighter Jim McNeill, who will be using technology to conduct scientific research on climate change.

The tech division of Nelson Bostock will lead the account and is part of a concerted drive to bolster its presence in the tech sector. It will build awareness of McNeill's expedition to the Arctic in 2010.

Nelson Bostock will also look to promote companies already involved with the Ice Warrior Project, including Motorola and P&G Beauty.
