Indian property firm brings in Weber Shandwick

Weber Shandwick Financial has been handed a corporate and financial public relations brief by listed Indian real estate investor Yatra Capital.

The agency will work to increase awareness of the company within the real estate, business and investment communities.

Weber Shandwick Financial will be asked to deliver both a comprehensive PR and investor relations programme.

The account will be led by Nick Oborne, director of the financial practice at Weber Shandwick.

The Amsterdam-listed firm has invested €220m in Indian real estate since its IPO in December 2006. It currently has over 27 million square feet under-development across nine Indian cities in seven sectors.
