Flack: On Expenses - Nobu Berkeley, London W1

Reviewer: Jess Christie, senior PR manager, Banana Republic

- What is it good for?

Nobu Berkeley is the perfect place for both lunch and dinner. I love the bento box deals at lunch, as you get all the Nobu greatest hits - rock shrimp tempura, an excellent selection of sushi and sashimi, and the delicious miso cod - in one beautifully presented box, making it quick and great value. I also love the atmosphere in the evening - glamorous, yet sophisticatedly understated. For me, though, the service is what elevates Nobu Berkeley, making it ideal for work or social occasions.

- Signature dishes

The world-famous black cod is as good as you've heard and the sashimi is truly special. My favourites include cabbage steak with truffles, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, and the decadent chocolate bento box for dessert.

- Who's the boss?

Paul Murashe is the general manager.

- Tips please?

The lounge bar downstairs is a great place for cocktails after work and it also serves food, so it's perfect if you don't want a big dinner.

- What's the damage?

Lunch for two is £50 if you choose the bento box. Dinner for two is £120 on average.
