The Heart of England NHS Trust took the top team prize in the Midlands awards, with the South Wales Police Authority's comms department beating off a challenge from confused.com's PR team.
Heart of England also had Best Young Communicator Award winner Victoria Crowe in its ranks. Best agency awards were picked up by Willoughby PR in the Midlands and Working Word PR in Wales. The latter dominated the Wales awards, grabbing a total of four awards, with MGB PR and Quadrant Media & Communications both picking up three each.
Haslimann Taylor picked up three gongs at the Midlands awards dinner.
Trimedia won the Midlands’ Consumer Relations Award for turning Birmingham’s Bullring shopping mall into a beach and pulling in extra punters during the quiet summer months.
