Urban Golf currently has two courses based in Soho and Smithfield, but it has aggressive expansion plans. The sites host golf simulators and PGA coaches as well as a large bar area.
The company is keen to promote itself as place for business meetings, conferences, products launches and client entertainment to high-end consumers. It also wants to get more professional women interested in using its facilities.
The firm has taken on The Outside Organisation on a retained basis to target high-end titles including Grazia and Elle to show the courses are not just for men. The agency will also raise the profile of the company more generally.
The company is planning to open a further five centres across London and other large UK cities over the next three years.
