Lucre beat off Citigate Dewe Rogerson for the B2B account. A key part of the brief is to reposition Opal Telecom following the company's rebranding, which is launching publicly at the end of this month.
Lucre will be targeting the IT and telecoms trade press to promote the rebrand. The long-term brief is to raise brand awareness in the national business media.
Opal was founded in 1995 and was acquired by Carphone Warehouse in 2002. The company provides telecoms services for over 100,000 business and public sector customers.
