Skin cancer brief for Signature

SKCIN, the national skin cancer charity, has retained Signature Communications to handle its corporate relations, PR and medical education programmes. The agency will work with the Department of Health and other stakeholders to develop a national strategy for the management of skin cancer in the UK.

Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has brought in Watershed PR to handle media relations and external communications following a two-way pitch. Watershed's brief is to achieve positive coverage of the trust's activities in local and regional South West media.

Resolute Communications has appointed Victoria Wright as a director. Wright joined the company in 2006 and is responsible for accounts including Shire, Astellas, Roche and BioMarin. She was previously business director at Hayward Medical.

The SPA Way has won a pitch to carry out a consumer PR campaign for Lemsip, the cold and flu brand from Reckitt Benckiser. The agency has been briefed to develop a PR campaign for Lemsip Max All In One to promote its new claim: 'Starts to get to work in five minutes'.
