Fishburn Hedges picks up carbon monoxide account

The Carbon Monoxide Consumer Awareness Alliance (COCAA) has appointed Fishburn Hedges to run its first national PR campaign.

The agency's brief is to raise awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning and advise people on how to stay safe in their homes.

COCAA brings together the victims’ charities, professional organisations and energy companies involved with the issue.

The FH team will lead a media relations and public affairs programme, rolled out across the UK.

The campaign, ‘Carbon Monoxide - Be Alarmed!’ launches at the end of October and will be fronted by Location, Location, Location’s Kirstie Allsopp.

Nigel Dumbrell, Chairman of COCAA, said: ‘Fishburn Hedges is able to provide the integrated approach we need to ensure this campaign reaches a very wide range of audiences.’

Fishburn Hedges director Martin Brown will lead the account. The campaign will run initially until Christmas.
