Amplify has developed a technology that analyses the internet to determine which websites advertisers should target. The service checks that the advertisements are placed next to appropriate content - so that, for example, a travel ad for Spain is not beside a negative story about the country.
Marlin PR has been briefing journalists and publishing, advertising and media companies about how the technology works.
Amplify is the second client for Marlin, since the sister agency to Brands2Life was founded in August. Marlin also represents Sony Professional Solutions UK (PRWeek 15 August).
Managing director Jenny Tod and senior consultant Nicole Love will be heading the retained account.
