Blurb uses free bookmaking software to allow anyone to create their own books online. They can then pay to order printed copies.
Last year Blurb earned almost $10m (£5.9m) and published over 90,000 titles.
AxiCom Cohn & Wolfe won the brief following a competitive pitch. Kate Stevens, associate director at the agency, will be leading the consumer technology account.
The brief is to raise awareness of the company and drive traffic to the Blurb website.
