The PM’s chief of strategy Stephen Carter and top media handler Damian McBride both left their jobs last week.
A source close to the PM said: ‘There are still things that are going to happen. We’ve lost Stephen Carter, so there will have to be some personnel changes.’
PRWeek can reveal that Number 10 head of digital comms Mark Flanagan has taken the vacant post of head of strategic comms – alongside his existing role.
Flanagan joined Downing Street in April to revamp the Government’s web strategy.
He becomes head of strategic and digital comms at Downing Street.
