B-M scoops Ricoh brief

Burson-Marsteller has landed a six-figure account with a global copier manufacturer.

Ricoh, whose competitors are Xerox and Hewlett-Packard, specialises in printing, copying, scanning and faxing equipment.

B-M won a three-way pitch to handle corporate PR across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Ricoh previously managed all PR for this region in-house.

The agency will raise brand awareness and liaise with Ricoh's PR representatives across EMEA. It will target the pan-European press and broadcasters.

The account will be led by Charlotte Greaves, manager of B-M's corporate, issues and technology practice.
