Silver Thread won the account in a competitive pitch against other lifestyle and marine PR agencies, including Salt Water PR. Susie Reid Thomas, founder of Silver Thread, will be heading up the account. She said it was the agency’s experience managing the PR for the Earls Court Sail, Power and Watersports Show which differentiated them from the competition.
Silver Thread’s first assignment is to launch Edmiston’s Superyacht Range Rover Design Competition.
Edmiston called on Superyacht designers to customise the Range Rover car using influences from yacht design. Silver Thread will help publicise the results of the competition this month. It will concentrate on reaching out to national newspapers, especially the Financial Times, as well as yachting and luxury magazines.
