Maureen Corish joins The Randon House Group on 1 October. She will lead digital plans, corporate affairs and corporate responsibility initiatives. She will be working alongside Random House’s international communications and intranet.

For the past seven years Corish has been at Bauer Media, previously Emap plc, where she oversees corporate and consumer PR, and internal communications.

Her most recent title was communications director, in charge of broadcast, music and new media.

Before joining Bauer, Corish worked at the BBC PR department in Birmingham and the entertainment publicity team at the BBC Television Centre in London.

Corish replaces Rachael Sansom, who has moved to an undisclosed agency role. Corish will report to Gail Rebuck, Random House Group’s chairman and chief executive.
