Opinion: From our readers - Quality not quantity is key at our council

The assertion that Hammersmith & Fulham Council's press office (News, 25 July) has suddenly re-focused all of our attention from standard press office duties to our newspaper is wrong.

Yes, we have vastly improved the quality of our newspaper and reduced press office numbers, but outcomes are not necessarily geared to how many staff you have. This is evident from the fact we have one of the highest profiles of any local authority in London media.
